ProMedica Monroe Regional Hospital - 2016

Objective: Launch of a comprehensive mental health resource guide and website to build awareness for mental health resources in the county.

Monroe Public Schools - 2018

Objective: Monroe Build Construction students will build a new home on the former South Monroe Townsite school property from the ground up.

Faith Works Medical Clinic - 2013

Objective: For the purchase of a SPOTCHEM lab machine for the clinic.

Monroe Middle School - 2014

Objective: Offering transitional students a class trip to Washington D.C. and New York City.

Paula's House - 2013

Objective: Supplemental alarm and video surveillance system for the facility.

Monroe County ISD - 2014

Objective: Coffee Shop/Cafe at Monroe High School for skills training for the cognitively impaired students.

Monroe County Opportunity Program - 2013

Objective: Oaks of Righteousness Christian Ministries Warming Center.

Monroe Public Schools - 2012

Objective: Providing keyboards for the students in Arborwood School.

Monroe County Community College - 2013

Objective: Upward Bound Program in Airport and Monroe High Schools to allow seven participants in the county's program to attend the 2013 Leadership Summit in Lansing, Michigan.

Building Health Communities - 2012

Objective: A collaboration partnership of professionals throughout the county to address the overall health and wellbeing of youth and adults.

Monroe County Opportunity Program - 2012

Objective: Fund a comprehensive community-wide needs assessment.

Objective: Dental services through the Michigan Community Dental Clinics.

Salvation Army, Monroe County - 2010

Objective: Assistance to Monroe County residents recovering from June 6, 2010 tornadoes.

Monroe County ISD-High Risk Pre-School Program 2009

Objective: Providing scholarships for a 2.5 hour two day a week pre-school program for one year for 30 at-risk three-year-old children in Monroe County.

Community Foundation - Imagination Library 2011

Objective: Providing a literacy program for children in Monroe County ages Birth - 5 years.

Salvation Army Faith Stimulus 2009

Objective: Providing assistance to the recently unemployed individuals of Monroe County.

Monroe County Opportunity Program/Community Choice Pantry 2010

Objective: Development of software technology to support the Community Choice Pantry with a system to cross-reference users and community resources to support the Human Service needs of the residents in Monroe County.

Catholic Charities - Bavolek Parenting Program 2007

Objective: To address at-risk parents with the goal of stabilizing families in Monroe County.

The Learning Bank Network Turning Point Program 2011

Objective: Providing 31 weeks of tutoring services to those in their academically diverse student population.

Monroe County Community Foundation 2009

Objective: Improve accessibility to recreation for the citizens of Monroe County.

Objective: Providing immunizations to Monroe County Children without insurance.

Family Medical Center 2009

Objective: Medicaid Match Program providing primary health care services to residents in Monroe County.

Monroe County Health Check

Objective: Collaborative effort with community partners offering low-cost health screenings at four Monroe County locations during the spring months.

Monroe County Health Plan

Objective: Offer health care to uninsured Monroe County residents between the ages of 18 and 64 previously receiving services under Michigan’s Adult Benefit Waiver program.

Active Balanced Community

Objective: Engage our community and its resources in the ongoing effort to create a healthy and protective environment in Monroe County that encourages responsible families and positive behaviors in youth.

Project Ramp

Objective: Build barrier-free ramps for those residents of Monroe County in need.

Youth Educational Construction Program

Objective: A collaborative project through Monroe Public Schools, Habitat for Humanity and United Way of Monroe County to provide decent and affordable housing and quality educational skill-building experience for MPS students.

2-1-1

Objective: Provide assessment, referrals to health and human care services and follow up. Acts as an advocate when needed.

Volunteer Action Center

Objective: Match volunteers with organizations in need of services.
